Shoe Dreams

Most people dream of what luxury car they want to drive when they are older, or what kind of house they want to own. I, on the other hand, dream of what shoes I want to be able to afford. I know, sounds cliche, but it's so true.

First of all I want to purchase Christian Louboutin shoes. I love his signature red-lacquered soles.  He has brought back the "yum" in stilettos and the "sexy" in making your legs look 10 ft. tall. His shoe designs make an outfit go from amazing to ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!

My second choice in my shoe dreams is Giuseppe Zanotti Design. Wow, these shoes are glamorous! They come with unique shapes and diverse colors. Gotta love those skinny heels . . . so hottt!

Why do men make such great shoes!? I guess it's one of their many secrets. With that said my third dream pair of shoes comes from the one and only Alexander Mcqueen! His designs may have similar shapes as other designers, but what makes him unique are the accessories he adds to his shoes. Some of his shoes even have golden skulls that add pop, diversity, and originality.

My philosophy is a girl can never have too many shoes. I'm already at over 70 pairs. Go ahead and call me addicted. haha Thanks for reading!

Gimme Gimme More!

It's not always good to have the same shirt in a lot of different colors. What's the purpose? Nothing! But there are two items in this world I approve of having lots and LOTS of; they are Maxi Dresses and Rompers. I honestly have 6 maxi dresses and 7 rompers. I love the versatile of both items. You can make them formal and casual. Maxi Dresses and Rompers come in multiple shapes and styles. Plus they are very convenient. Put one on, add hoop earrings, bangles, and some gladiator shoes and you're a Fashion Goddess. Don't forget you're greatest accessory is your smile. Work it girl!

The Feather Epidemic

I see more feathers in women's hair than I do on birds, and I LOVE IT! These feather's can range from $6 to $400. Men are wearing these feathers as well. Not only do feathers make you're hair pop with color, they are also manageable. You can wash your hair normally with them and with the right tools you can install them as needed. Here is a good deal on Feather Hair Extensions located on Etsy.com, a fun site where you can find just about anything. So ladies and gentlemen soar with the feathers of eagles, because you look mighty fine doing it! Thanks for reading!

Oh wait! I guess dogs are wearing feathers too!

Sweet 14

Whoever says you can't change the world at 14, well Hailee Steinfeld isn't listening! Hailee, a rising 14 year old actress, will be playing the epic role of Juliet in Carlo Carlei's film Romeo and Juliet. For Hailee, talent doesn't come one-dimensional; she's also talented in her chic style. From head to toe, pictured above, Hailee is rocking Tommy Hilfiger. My favorite part of her outfit are those prep-style blue heels. Can I borrow those sometime, Hailee?

Online Shopping

Hi my name is Candice and I'm an online shopping addict.
Online shopping is the new and convenient thing to do. At times I can find more items online than I could in the actual store. The deals are great, but what kills the deals is the shipping and handling cost. This is why most online stores will ask you spend so much in order to receive free shipping.
My favorite online store is shopbop.com. This store has all types of styles, even items you would see on celebs. I can always find something beautiful on this site.
Here are some of my future purchases . . .

Roaring Ryan

Ryan Reynolds is on the cover of Details this month. Just looking at this picture can help us understand why he was titled in 2010 by People Magazine, 'The Sexist Man Alive'. What a HOTTIE! Ryan's style has always been clean-cut by using solid colors and subtle prints. Men's Health wrote an article titled 'How Ryan Reynolds Revs Up His Style'. Click the title in order to get tips from Ryan himself. You won't be disappointed by this very attractive man!

Gentlemen Quarterly

I absolutely love when guys wear skinny jeans, plaid shirts, and ties. I have enjoyed seeing the rise in men's wear around the world. Men clothing is becoming so popular that us ladies are getting tips from the men. I have several men dress shirts I wear with leggings and knee high boots. Guys, keep rocking your style 'cause you look damn good doing it! Gentlemen, here are some suggestions of what you may want to keep in your closet to get that James Dean turns Ashton Kutcher style!
1. Skinny Jeans
2. Plaid Shirt
3. Skinny Tie
4. Blazer
5. Clothe Shoes

Make Her Style Your Own!

Michelle Williams, who played in one of my favorite movies "Blue Valentine", is one of my fashion idols. Here she is wearing a Suno grey dress with platform shoes. I love how she is not wearing any jewelry but still pulls of that million dollar diamond look in a simple chic way. I also love her pixie platinum blonde haircut.

Michelle's look here was my inspiration for my graduation dress. I knew I wanted platform shoes, a short dress that showed off my figure, and a neck length haircut. But unlike Michelle I had to go with bright colors because that's just my personality. Thanks Michelle for all your help! :)And thanks everyone for reading!

Wedding Dress or Drama Dress?

I just watched the new bridal show on WE tv "Amsale Girls". I thought this show was going to be about the amazing bridal designer, Amsale Aberra, who I like to call the new Vera Wang, but instead the show is fully focused on the sales associates and their stresses of selling wedding gowns. It was more like a upscale version of "Say Yes to the Dress"with more competition between the three consultants.
I do admit that I thoroughly enjoyed looking at Amsale's beautiful dresses. I wanted every single one. Her story is very inspiring: Amsale moved from Ethiopia to the United States in order to find better opportunities. She then in-roled in a school in Massachusetts and met her husband there as well. While searching for a wedding dress, Amsale found it difficult to find a dress that was simple and more her style. (I mean it was the 80's: NOTHING was simple back then.) She ended up designing and making her own. Now she is making dresses for all types of brides. Maybe I'll buy an Amsale dress someday. . . . maybe you'll see me on this show! For now i'll dream and write blogs!
